Sunday Live at the Library - Jerry Popiel: Songs of the 70s

  • Wadsworth Public Library 132 Broad Street Wadsworth, OH 44281 (map)

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) and the Wadsworth Public Library continue Sunday Live at the Library with Jerry Popiel on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 2pm at the Wadsworth Public Library, 132 Broad Street, Wadsworth, OH 44281.

Live at the Library continues its celebration of 250 years of American music by revisiting the decades each month. Jerry Popiel will take us back to the 1970s, exploring the high-water mark of classic singer/songwriters, performing hits and deeper cuts from the era’s luminaries such as James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce, Simon & Garfunkel, Gordon Lightfoot, Dan Fogelberg, America and more.  During that era, insightful folk-rock lyrics and inspired melodies ruled the airwaves in a way that later artists largely have not.  Performed in an intimate solo acoustic guitar setting, Jerry brings those songs to life in an authentic and vibrant way.

This program is free. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call 419-853-6016.
