Medina Community Band is pleased to announce its upcoming Mid-Winter Concert, scheduled for Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Western Reserve Masonic Community. The band is conducted by Marcus L. Neiman, with Dr. Darren LeBeau, Amy Muhl, and Matthew Hastings serving as associate conductors.

This Mid-Winter Concert has been added to the Medina Community Band’s performance schedule to make up for the December Winter Concert, which was canceled due to inclement weather. The concert is free, open to the public, and offers ample parking.

Music for the Mid-Winter Concert will include Ashokan Farewell (Jay Unger), American Folk Rhapsody No 2 (Clare Grundman), Flags of Freedom (John Philip Sousa), and American Patrol (Frank Wright Meacham). The MCB Brass Choir will perform Variations on Mighty Fortress is Our God (Martin Luther/Kevin Kaisershort), and the MCB Woodwind Choir will perform Symphony No 5, Mvt. 1 (Franz Schubert). Clarinet Candy (Leroy Anderson), a clarinet duet, will feature Mary Ann Grof-Neiman & Erich Standar as soloists. The Penny Whistle (Leroy Anderson) will feature flute soloists Dr. Tracy Gulling-Leftwich, Amy Muhl, and Sue McLaughlin. The MCB Saxophone section - Robert Moore and Margo Miller (alto), Daniel Hradisky (tenor), and Gwen Strehle (baritone) will be featured in Sax Serenade (Ira P. Schwarz).
