Medina Community Band will present their fourth concert for the 2025 Summer Gazebo Series on Friday, June 27, at 8:00 p.m., in the Gazebo on the Medina Public Up-town Park Square

There is ample parking and no admission charge to the concert. Medina Community Band under the batons of Dr. Darren LeBeau, associate conductor and Marcus L. Neiman, conductor will be featured.

The Medina Community Band’s program will include the Donald Hunsberger arrangement of Dimitri Shostakovich’s Festive Overture, Op. 69, Michael Brand’s arrangement of Claude Debussy’s Girl with the Flaxen Hair. Also featured will be selections from the Stephen Schwartz musical and movie Wicked arranged by Jay Bocook and The Paul Lavender arrangement of John Williams’ Star Wars - The Force Awakes Part 4. Flute soloists for the evening are Amy Muhl and Sue McLaughlin in Kurt Gäble Celtic Flutes. There will be a special event for children of all ages to parade the square to John Bratton’s Teddy Bear’s Picnic. Sergi Prokofiev’s March, Op. 99, Frank Panella’s and John Philip Sousa’s Columbia Pride and The Stars and Stripes Forever will be featured.

We encourage those attending to take note that our new starting time will be 8:00 p.m. The concert will last approximately 60 to 70 minutes.
