A Sweet Success…

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in and supported our 4th Annual Chocolate Walk fundraiser. Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, the event raised an incredible $6,018 to help advance the arts in Medina County!

This year’s success plays a vital role in helping MCAC continue its mission of advocating for, supporting, and nurturing the arts throughout the community. Funds raised will support scholarships for graduating Medina County high school students pursuing arts education, arts grants for educators and local organizations, as well as arts supplies for at risk children and adults—investments that strengthen the cultural richness and creative vitality of our county.

The Chocolate Walk’s success was made possible through the collaboration and community spirit of our many supporters. We extend a special thank-you to our event sponsors for their generous contributions, the Chocolatiers for sharing their delicious creations, and our Hosts for providing spaces that allowed more local businesses and organizations to participate. We also express our sincere appreciation to A.I. Root Candles for graciously hosting us on their beautiful campus and to Sunny Griffith for filling the afternoon with wonderful live entertainment.

Your support and enthusiasm continue to fuel our mission and remind us of the power of creativity to connect and inspire. With your ongoing involvement, MCAC is confident the arts will continue to thrive in Medina County—enriching lives and inspiring generations to come.

Planning for the next Service to the Arts event has begun, and we are seeking additional participation from the Medina County community!
The Medina County Arts Council (MCAC) is looking for individuals who are interested in joining the committee to help plan and coordinate this special event.

The purpose of the Service to the Arts awards are to recognize the exceptional contributions of individuals and organizations that elevate the arts in Medina County. From visual artists to performers, to community organizations, the awards celebrate those whose work shapes the cultural landscape of our county.

Through these awards, we honor the dedication and passion of those who enrich our community with their creativity, vision, and tireless effort.

Community Window Gallery…

Call for Artists: “Medina Holiday Theme” – Next Window Gallery Installation

The next Window Gallery installation at the old Medina Hardware store is quickly approaching, and the Medina County Arts Council (MCAC) is seeking submissions inspired by the “Medina Holiday” theme!

As the community prepares to celebrate Main Street Medina’s annual Candlelight Walk, MCAC invites local artists to showcase their creativity and holiday spirit in downtown Medina storefront windows. Submissions can reflect any aspect of the season — from Medina’s festive charm and traditions to winter landscapes, holiday lights, or community celebrations.

This installation will be on display during one of Medina’s most cherished events, offering artists a wonderful opportunity to share their work with thousands of visitors and spread holiday cheer through art.

The Medina County Arts Council (MCAC) is proud to partner with the Stephenson Family in transforming the front windows of this historic building into a vibrant Window Art Gallery for all to enjoy.

This exciting collaboration celebrates and supports local artistic talent by providing a unique, high-visibility platform for artists to share their creativity with the community. Together, we’re bringing art to everyday spaces and highlighting the rich cultural spirit that makes Medina so special.
