Take the “Chocolate Walk” on Sweetest Day …

Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 11am to 4pm.

The Medina County Arts Council (MCAC) invites you to take a stroll on Sweetest Day through the Medina historic district area while gathering over 20 delicious chocolate treats during our 2nd annual Chocolate Walk sponsored by Foster’s Tavern of Hinckley, Medina County Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Medina County Show Biz Company.

During this unique event, ticket holders will visit “Chocolatier” stops throughout the downtown area collecting samples provided by business owners and community partners - each serving something unique and special but of course, chocolate-themed. Attendees will discover endless options— everything from fudges, mochas, truffles, candles and so much more. One “Chocolatier” stop equals one chocolate treat. At check-in, attendees will receive a bag to carry their samples in and an official map of the “Chocolatier” stops.

Not only is this a fun opportunity for the community to support the arts in Medina County, but it’s also the perfect time to shop for the upcoming holidays or treat yourself as you make your way through the many unique shops. Grab your friends or invite someone special and enjoy this excursion.

WHAT TO DO

Attendees who have purchased tickets will start their adventure with a check-in at Root Candles in the A.I. Root Event Room located at 623 W Liberty St, Medina, OH 44256.
(Check-in times are selected at the time of ticket purchase.)

You will receive the official map of the 20+ participating “Chocolatiers” and a complimentary tote bag to begin your journey. Enjoy a day of visiting Medina businesses and collecting chocolate theme samples. Some Chocolatiers are located around the Square and others are located just a bit further out that you can drive to.

The self guided Chocolate Walk continues until 4pm so take your time and enjoy the great shops and restaurants.

This fundraising event benefits Medina County Arts Council (MCAC) and will help MCAC to provide grant funding to Medina County schools and organizations for arts-related projects as well as scholarships to graduating arts student who continue their arts education
