Arts in Education

The Medina County Arts Council is awarding grants for art-related projects in Medina County Schools/Organizations. Total available funds for arts education grants this year is $4,500, and we will try to fund as many projects as possible within this budget.

Participate in MCAC's 2nd Annual Chocolate Walk Fundraiser

• Be a Chocolatier - Pass out chocolate as a business with a brick and mortar or at a business as a guest

• Host a Chocolatier - Be a host to a chocolatier that does not already have a brick and mortar business

• Be a Sponsor - Help support our fundraising event and the art community with future events and programs

• Be a Volunteer - Help support MCAC the day of the Chocolate Walk event

• Buy a ticket - visit Medina area businesses & collect chocolate samples

It truly is a fun way for community members to shop local businesses and meet new people all while supporting the MCAC’s mission to advocate for, nurture, and support the arts in Medina County.

Proceeds from the Chocolate Walk will help Medina County Arts Council continue to provide grants to Medina County educators and art programs as well as scholarships for graduating seniors who have excelled in the arts and more.

Arts Roundtable…

Thank you for joining us on September 7, 2023 as Brian Reitz lead the discussion focusing on grant writing for artists and small art organizations.

In addition to our Arts Roundtable being informative, they are a great way to network so others can learn about you and/or your organization.

Spirits of the Past…

Thank you to all who purchased tickets to this year’s Spirits of the Past and took a Walk into History.

For more than two decades, Medina's "Spirits of the Past" has been cooperatively staged by Medina County Show Biz Company, Medina County Arts Council, and the Medina County Historical Society. This guided walk around Medina's Historic Square shares stories about the lives of Medina's pioneers with dramatic reenactments performed by local actors.

We would also like to thank the Wright’s and Miss Molly’s Tea Room & Gift Shop for pnce again hosting Dining with the Spirits. Many came to learn about Medina’s pioneers through an indoor performance while enjoying an afternoon English Tea & desserts. This event is truly a treat!
