Get Ready for Medina’s Sweetest Day of the Year – The 4th Annual Chocolate Walk!Medina, OH – August 19, 2025 – Chocolate lovers, mark your calendars! The Medina County Arts Council (MCAC) is thrilled to present the 4th Annual Chocolate Walk on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in historic downtown Medina. This delicious fundraiser invites participants to stroll Medina’s iconic Public Square and surrounding downtown businesses to visit our official “Chocolatiers” and collect at least 20 decadent chocolate treats along the way. “This event is not only a fun way to enjoy chocolate, but it also helps support the Medina County Arts Council’s programs and initiatives,” said Abigail Sweigert, president of MCAC. “We’re excited to bring together local businesses, community members, and chocolate lovers for a day of fun and indulgence.” New This Year: Beecycle Giveaway! Participants can win a free two-hour booking for 14 riders on the Medina Pedal Company’s ‘Beecycle’—a $400 value. Every ticket purchased includes an entry into the drawing. Tickets: $30 Pre-Sale – August 28 to September 14 $35 Regular Price – September 15 to October 18 Each ticket includes: an official Chocolate Walk map, reusable event tote, storage container, bottled water, and an entry into the Beecycle drawing.
Tickets are limited, so early purchase is strongly encouraged! Three Sweet Ways to Get Involved: As a Chocolatier – Local businesses and organizations can sweeten the day by offering chocolate creations to participants while showcasing their brand and welcoming new customers into their stores. There is also an option to Host a Chocolatier by providing space at your business for them to pass out their samples or collaborate with them on the samples.
As a Sponsor – Gain visibility while supporting the arts in Medina County. Sponsorships help fund various arts programs, community events, provide arts supplies to underserved residents, and scholarships to graduating seniors.
As a Walker – Purchase a ticket and enjoy a self-guided chocolate adventure. It’s a great way to explore Medina’s vibrant downtown, connect with friendly faces, and discover hidden gems — all while supporting the arts and local businesses in our community.
