2023 Arts Organization Grants…MCAC will award a total of $5,000 to Medina County organizations with an arts-centered focus or arts related projects.
To be eligible, applicant organizations must have 501(c)(3) status or be associated with educational, religious or recovery organizations.

2023 MCAC Scholarships…The Medina County Arts Council (MCAC) will be awarding five (5) one-time scholarships to Medina County graduating seniors in the year 2023. There will be a total of $4,000 awarded, three in the amount of $1,000 each and two in the amount of $500 each. Funds are to be used toward tuition, books, or other school supplies. MCAC hosted their Annual Meeting on February 15 and presented the Service to the Arts wards to Dan Hostetler, Planet Joy Studio, and Access the Arts for their passion, efforts and commitment to the arts in Medina County. Thank you to all who joined us as we celebrate the accomplishments of those who have shown a commitment to enriching Medina County through the arts. Following the MCAC Annual Meeting, the 2022 Annual Report was released (Check it out here) and the trustees held elections for the 2023 slate of officers, trustees up for renewal, and new board members. The 2023 officers include Kelly Parks -president, Abigail Sweigert -vice president, Jane Back-secretary, and Kelly Butler-treasurer. Welcome new board members Janet George, Jen Dove, Dawn Blue, & Sarah Bullington.

If you have the time and motivation to help with projects, love hands-on tasks and have a get-it-done attitude, you would fit right in. We were thrilled to have brought together such a great group of artists, educators, and organizations to learn how the Ohio Arts Council can help fund the arts in Medina County.
