Arts Views is a monthly e-newsletter from the Medina County Arts Council to promote our mission to advocate for, support, and nurture the arts in Medina County.

MCAC Annual Meeting

The Medina County Arts Council will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Buehl’er River Styx Community Room located at 3626 Medina Rd. in Medina. The Community Room, nestled next to the bakery dept., will serve as the gathering point for this important community event.

The meeting is open to the public and will feature key agenda items, including a review of the organization’s 2025 budget, the election of new officers to join the board, and a vote on executive committee positions. The 2024 organization grant recipients will also discuss their projects and the impact of MCAC’s grants.

Kelly Parks, board president of MCAC, encourages residents to attend and engage in shaping the future of arts in Medina County.

2024… A Year To Remember

The Medina County Arts Council Trustees thank you for supporting the arts in Medina County. Your generosity has helped to make a difference for many budding artists and arts organizations over the years. And, your engagement with local arts professionals and your attendance at local arts events has helped to improve our quality of life in Medina County. Celebrate the Service to the Arts Awards

Medina County Arts Council honors the accomplishments of those who have shown a commitment to enriching Medina County through the arts by awarding organizations and individuals with Service to the Arts award.

You may nominate an individual, yourself, an organization, a business, or special group. Nominations accepted until 3/31/2025. Click HERE for nomination form & additional info.

2024 MCAC Scholarships

The Medina County Arts Council (MCAC) will be awarding one-time scholarships again this year to Medina County graduating seniors. Applications are open to all Medina County seniors graduating in 2025. Applications are now being accepted until March 15, 2025. Click HERE to learn more & apply

Organization Grants

The Medina County Arts Council invites local organizations with an arts-centered focus or project to apply for grant funding to be awarded in 2020. To be eligible, applicant organizations must have 501(c)(3) status or be a not-for-profit organization located in Medina County and have a dedicated mission statement or special project with an arts focus. The application deadline is 3/21/2025.

Arts Week 2025

MCAC is looking for businesses, organizations, and local artists who are interested in hosting an event for Arts Week such as a tutorial, workshop, competition, or mini performance.

The purpose of Arts Week is to provide free or low cost artistic experiences, activities and performances throughout Medina County for all ages with a goal to celebrate the arts and the creative spirit that flourishes within our county.

Board & Committee Positions Open - we are looking for people to fill open board positions and help on committee. If you have the time and motivation to help with projects, love hands-on tasks and have a get-it -done attitude, you would fit right in.
