2023 Chocolate Walk

Participate in MCAC's 2nd Annual Chocolate Walk Fundraiser

• Be a Chocolatier - Pass out chocolate as a business with a brick and mortar or at a business as a guest

• Host a Chocolatier - Be a host to a chocolatier that does not already have a brick and mortar business

• Be a Sponsor - Help support our fundraising event and the art community with future events and programs

• Be a Volunteer - Help support MCAC the day of the Chocolate Walk event

It truly is a fun way for community members to shop local businesses and meet new people all while supporting the MCAC’s mission to advocate for, nurture, and support the arts in Medina County.

Proceeds from the Chocolate Walk will help Medina County Arts Council continue to provide grants to Medina County educators and art programs as well as scholarships for graduating seniors who have excelled in the arts and more.

Take a Walk into Medina County History

A Walk with the Spirits will be held September 7th through the 1oth.
Guides will lead groups of about 20 (starting every 10 minutes) around the Medina Square to hear stories from Medina’s past.  The number of guests per time slot is  limited.

We are currently seeking volunteers to guide the walks. Please email us at medinacoartscouncil@gmail.com if you are able to volunteer.

The Walk is hosted by Medina County Show Biz, Medina County Historical Society and the Medina County Arts Council.

Medina Weekly News columnist, Karl Gerhard will be cooking up a few of his favorite dishes: Filet mignon donated by Keller Meats, heirloom salad donated by Richardson Farms, grilled asparagus, roasted root vegetables, and peach cobbler with homemade vanilla bean ice cream. Enjoy this delicious meal relaxing by the lake at the home of Paul and Sue Becks, owner of Footsteps World Travel.

Arts in Education

The Medina County Arts Council is awarding grants for art-related projects in Medina County Schools/Organizations. Total available funds for arts education grants this year is $4,500, and we will try to fund as many projects as possible within this budget.

Application Deadline is September 1st, 2023
