2021 MCAC grant applications will be accepted from Dec. 1, 2020 to Feb. 28, 2021. All grants will be reviewed in March and decisions made in April. Applicants will be informed of awards by May 15. This year, grant applicants can include 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, schools/teachers, religious organizations, or recovery institutions. To be eligible, the nonprofit organization must be located in Medina County and have 501(c)(3) status or approval signed by the administrator of the organization (i.e. schools/teachers by the principal, religious organizations by the acting head of the organization, recovery institutions by the program director.). Profits from any event or special project of the requesting organization shall be used to promote the arts in Medina County. The mission of requesting organization must have an arts focus. Eligible requests include financial support for general operating expenses, or guest artists’ fees, play royalties, publicity, etc. for special projects. The funds must be used within the calendar year awarded (Jan. 1-Dec. 31). I.
