Concerts in the Country at HeARTland: Neo Steel Drum August 14, 2021, 7-9 pm 8187 Camp Rd., Homerville, OH ORMACO presents a fundraising concert in the Country at HeARTland with NEO Steel Drum bringing the sounds of the Caribbean to the country. Proceeds support ORMACO’s music, arts, and cultural outreach programs in the schools. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the rhythmic sounds around the HeARTland Pond. Music at the Arboretum: Idle Twittering: A Flock of Flutes Friday, August 20, 2021 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm John Streeter Garden Amphitheater 2122 Williams Rd., Wooster, OH Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) closes out its summer concert series at the John Streeter Garden Amphitheater with Idle Twittering: A Flock of Flutes. French Flutist Louis Fleury (1878–1926) referred to music of the 19th century as “idle twittering.” What’s the antidote? A flock of flutes from Northeastern Ohio joins forces for a tuneful and tootful performance on flutes of all shapes and sizes with George Pope, Jane Berkner, Kyra Kester, Linda White.
