Suggested donation: $1.11 Watch students and staff put their artistic skills to the test during this annual event, where each participant creates a 24” x 30” liquid acrylic painting on canvas in just 111 minutes. Completed works are auctioned off and funds raised support scholarships for high school seniors pursuing the arts. Attention all high school seniors! Medina Community Band’s senior solo competition is open to any high school senior instrumentalist attending one of Medina County’s public, private high schools or home school. A cash scholarship prize of $500 will be awarded to the winner. Applicants must be enrolled as members of their school’s performing ensemble when applying and must continue their participation during the 2019-2020 academic year. Homeschoolers must be sponsored by their private teacher. Applications are due by Fri., Jan. 31. Learn more and submit an application.
